We want to give you advanced notice that on September 20th the NUGEN Audio website shop will be taking part in the Global Climate Strike. This means that on that day it will not be possible to make a purchase direct from us on our website - all other services will remain the same.
When I see or hear news items about climate change I notice in myself that I usually feel alarm, powerlessness and a sense of anxiety, quickly followed by a desire to think about something else, and a vague hope that the science is wrong or exaggerated, or that someone else will fix it. My mind pushes the uncomfortable thoughts away.
But deeper down I believe the science is probably largely correct, and humanity is heading for a climate emergency.
I personally try to recycle and use public transport, but that is not going to be enough. If the science is even half right we need our political leaders to work together to take combined urgent action to avoid or reduce global disaster.
My hope is that, by participating in the Global Climate Strike, just before the UN emergency climate summit, I can contribute some small amount of pressure on our leaders to take action.
